Privacy

Protecting personal information security is one of the important contents. With the advent of the new media era, the public social and interactive forms are constantly updated, and privacy issues related to social media are constantly discussed.

The so-called social network sites refer to such a kind of network service: can make individuals create a public or semi-public self-image within a bounded system; clearly and concretely determine who they exchange information with; and browse and make use of their own or other established contact networks within the system at will.

In the era of institutionalized mass communication, the contradiction between news communication and privacy protection is usually manifested in the structure of "taking pictures, monitoring (listening) individuals by the news media, that is to say,"rights and infringements". In social media, users "actively disclose" more information than before in a situation that they think is safe, once asked. This kind of trouble can be said to be "self-seeking" and can not be defined by the traditional structure of "rights and violations".

Expansion of scope. In the past, this kind of problem usually only involves public figures, because they are the target of communication agencies; now, this kind of problem may occur to every ordinary user of social media.

  1. Although many social media platforms can be set as private accounts, but I don't really feel as if all my information on the website is private. Nowadays, whatever you search on the web are tracked by the database and could potentially pop up as an advertisement while you scrolling through instagram or facebook. How do you feel about this aspect?

  4. Regarding the privacy issues of various payment tools, the biggest problem is if your security awareness is not enough after your phone is lost. It may cause a lot of personal loss, so the security verification binding of the lock screen and the payment instrument should be done well. Once you lose your phone, you can minimize your losses.
